In November 2003 the non-profit association Kulturbrücke Hamburg e. V. founded by Mrs. Hourvash Pourkian and her team and deals with the realization of intercultural projects in Hamburg.
The aim is to break down existing prejudices against migrants and to give children and young people greater support in the field of education and dialogue with one another. The diverse projects of Kulturbrücke are aimed at enabling intercultural exchange and communication between families of different origins and creating tolerance and understanding for otherness.
